OUR

MINISTRIES

We are keen to use the gifting that God has given us. We never want to run with good ideas, only God-given visions. There are opportunities to be involved of every aspect of church life and also to come to church to be refreshed. No matter what season you are in, you are welcome.

Children's Ministry

We welcome children into the heart of the church. Children are the church of today, not the church of the future. With this in mind, we provide a Sunday School for primary school age children and a creche for babies and toddlers.  We have a team of DBS checked volunteers who run these programmes

If you feel happier to keep your little one with you during the service, please do not be concerned about them making any noise.
"Make a joyful shout to the Lord"  Psalm 100:1

During the summer holidays, we run programmes to keep children entertained throughout the long break. Here they play games, do crafts and artwork, meet other children and learn Bible stories.

Women's Ministry

"She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue" Proverbs 31:26

Each Wednesday, the women of CCF gather for a Bible Study on Zoom. We are currently reading through the Psalms. If you are interested, they meet from 6:30pm for a 7:00pm start.

Prayer Ministry
Prayer.jpg

"If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land."

Prayer is the foundation of a Christian's life. We believe in the power of prayer. We believe in a God who answers prayer. As a result of this, everything that we do is centred around prayer. On Thursday evenings, we meet to pray. If at any time you need prayer, there are 3 options available to you; you can contact Geoff Bates or Liz Morris, use the Prayer Request form here or during the Sunday morning service

Overseas Missions

As a church, we are involved in overseas missions. We support a number of missionary families, host guest speakers from Adopt A Child and send our church members on mission trips to India, Romania, Albania and Africa. We are also involved with Samaritans Purse' Operation Christmas Child, and in recent years, have become a collection point for the shoebox appeal.
